Description
We are seeking a passionate educational professional to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering instruction while leading children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This position also requires a person to abide by the IRCS Code of Ethics and possess strong Christian values.
Responsibilities
- Lesson planning and preparation
- Deliver quality instruction in all subject areas while incorporating a biblical worldview.
- Employ differentiated instructional techniquesÂ
- Analyze data and determine the best use of data to drive instruction
- Assign and grade homework
- Integrate technology into instruction
- Manage student behavior from a biblical standpoint
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, parent conferences, and grade books
- Attend and participate in professional development opportunities
- Plan field trips and on-campus activities through approved channels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Passion for lifelong learning and continuous improvement
- ACSI teaching certification or ability to obtain certification
